NID, IIT-CEED & IIT-UCEED are the premier institutes for design studies in various domains. Both the institutes conduct their own entrance exams for admission. NID was established in 1961 and has been a center for design education, practice, and research since then.

If you want to pursue Architecture as your career you have to attempt NATA and JEE mains paper-2 to get enrolled in Indias top architectural schools like JJ School of Architecture, School of Planning and Architecture(SPA), Chandigarh College of Architecture(CCA) and CEPT.
